TUDOR SUBMARINER Ref.7928MM MK 2.(1.5) GILT track – SILVER writing/1963y
¥2,980,000
The Tudor Submariner started with references 7922/7923/7924 and models without crown guards, and the 7928 was the first model to feature crown guards.
The 7928 Submariner we have in stock this time is the '63 model Mark II dial underline model.
MK I. Always cased in a Square Crown case. Gilt writing. Gilt track.
MK II. Gilt track – silver writing
MK III. Silver writing and no track
MK IV. Regular writing and markers similar to Rolex 5513
*MKI dials are also seen in exclamation point (small trit dot at 6) and Underline dial variations.
The last * in the dial variations above indicates that there are 6-dot and underline variations, so more accurately, it may be classified as the Mark 1 dial with an underline. Or perhaps the Mark 1.5.
The case has a pointed crown guard, commonly known as PCG. It doesn't look like it has been polished at all, and the lugs are thick and sturdy.
The movement is running smoothly with a 390 butterfly rotor.

↑ It is introduced here alongside the ROLEX Submariner 5512 which was produced around the same time, so please take a look.
This is a wonderful, completely original piece.
