Ref.5513の後継モデルで、ノンデイトのサブマリーナー。
5513と同じく文字盤６時位置にクロノメーター表記がないので、２ラインと呼ばれています。余白のバランスがいいのでシンプルな顔が魅力です。夜光はSWISS-T<25のオリジナルトリチウム。もちろん針もオリジナルです。
裏蓋シールが残っており、ケースは写真の通り使用感のほぼない抜群のコンディションです。ブレスの伸びもほぼありません。外箱、保証書、カタログ等の揃ったフルセットでの販売です。
This is a Rolex Submariner Ref.14060 with an X-series serial, dating to 1991.
Introduced as the successor to the Ref.5513, it is the no-date version of the Submariner. Like the Ref.5513, it does not carry chronometer certification text at 6 o’clock, leaving only the two lines of “SUBMARINER” and “1000ft=300m.” This is why these early examples are commonly referred to as “2-Line” dials. The generous amount of open space on the dial gives the watch a particularly clean and well-balanced appearance.
The luminous material is original tritium, indicated by the “SWISS-T<25” signature, and the hands are also original. The original caseback sticker remains in place, and as shown in the photos, the case is in exceptional condition with very little sign of use. The bracelet also shows almost no stretch.
