This is a very rare 1675/8 model without a crown guard. In order to purchase this 1675 without a crown guard, we analyzed various documents, auction results, details, and value.
It is currently known that the 6542 solid gold models date to the latter half of the serial number 8 (1962), and the 1675 solid gold models date to the serial number 9, which began in 1962. In other words, this watch is the first 1675 solid gold model.
Looking at the auction results at Phillips and Christie's, a 6542 in solid gold has been sold for around 15 million yen in recent years. A 1675 in solid gold without a crown guard has sold for around 1,000 yen, but only if the dial has not been replaced. However, it is a baton-handed watch, and the dial at 6 o'clock has the letter T SWISS T. However, the condition is that it must be an original dial with a hyphen after OYSTER - PERPETUAL and OYSTER, and other watches without the hyphen have been sold for less than 4 million yen, so please be careful. For more details, I wrote an article on the NEWS page.
This is the year when the 6542/8 was replaced by the 1675/8, so now is your chance to get your hands on the very first 1675/8 model.
In order to sell it in the store, we had it serviced by Rolex Japan with the bracelet attached. It is now possible to have it overhauled by Rolex Japan. (We will discuss with the purchaser about having it overhauled by Rolex Japan.)
The case is thick and retains its original shape, and it is in its original condition with the earliest dial (Only Swiss), alpha hands, 24-hour small hand, bezel, rivet bracelet, etc.
Please don't miss this opportunity.
