1962年のデイトジャスト1601。オリジナルのアルファハンドとドアストップダイヤル。
6時9時のインデックス形状が、ドアを止めるドアストップに似ていることからその愛称で親しまれています。６時位置の一番下には60年の早い時期に生産されていた「SWISS」のみの表記が確認できます。針文字盤共に夜光がないのでこの先も綺麗なコンディションを維持できるかと思います。
ベゼルもなかなか希少な60年代の初期までにしかみられない細かい刻みのフルーテッド。非常に良い状態で残っています。
ブレスは後年のロレックス純正ですが、年代は本体と合致する巻きのジュビリーブレスです。

This 1962 Rolex Datejust Ref. 1601 features its original Alpha hands and the distinctive “Doorstop” dial.

The dial earned its nickname from the shape of the 6 and 9 o’clock hour markers, which resemble doorstops. At the very bottom of the dial, beneath the 6 o’clock marker, is the “SWISS”-only signature, a characteristic of early 1960s production. Neither the hands nor the dial feature luminous material, which should help preserve their beautiful condition over time.

The watch also retains its finely fluted bezel, a relatively rare detail found only on earlier examples from the 1960s. It remains in exceptionally good condition.

The bracelet is a later Rolex genuine replacement, but it is a folded-link Jubilee bracelet of the correct period and style for the watch.
