The "ukiyo" in ukiyo-e means "now" or "modern times," and they depict popular kabuki actors and tourist spots from each era. This is a modern publisher founded by Yuka Mitsui in 2014 with the idea of making use of the stance of ukiyo-e in the modern era, and has been expressing modern stars through traditional woodblock prints.
