リファレンス1675は、1967~68年にかけてミラーダイヤルからこのマットダイヤルに切り替わるのですが、その初期の文字盤。ROLEXの「E」のフォントの真ん中の横棒が長いことから通称「ロングE」と呼ばれます。 1675のマットダイヤルは結構長く製造された為、様々なバリエーションが存在します。 そういう意味では、マットの最初のダイヤルで製造年も容易に特定できる為、購入後の安心感が得られます。

The GMT-Master Ref. 1675 transitioned from gilt dials to matte dials around 1967–1968, and this is one of those early matte examples.

This dial is commonly referred to as the “Long E” dial, named after the distinctive shape of the letter “E” in the ROLEX signature, where the middle horizontal bar is noticeably extended.

Matte dials for the Ref. 1675 were produced over a relatively long period, resulting in a wide range of variations. In that sense, this early matte dial is especially appealing, as it represents the very first generation of matte dials and allows the production period to be identified with greater confidence.
