PATEK PHILIPPE 3796R Ref.96通称クンロクから続くカラトラバの代表作。個人的にはref.96とref.3796のケースとダイヤルの黄金比は未だに破られていないと思っている。時代が変わろうと他メーカーがどれだけ真似しようともこれだけは無理だと思う。手に取って、眺めて、腕に乗せるとそれが分かります…そんな１本。パッと見小さく感じますが、その存在感とオーラはこのモデルのこのリファレンスならでは。
今回の香港では、パテックのセミヴィンテージの定番と人気モデルは殆ど見当たらなくなりました。世界情勢と金相場が強く影響しているのは確か。
