1971-72年シリアルのデイトジャスト1603「ワイドボーイ」のゴーストダイヤル。

通常のデイトジャストよりも幅広く設計されたインデックスと専用の針がセットされた、通称「Wide Boy（ワイドボーイ）」ダイヤル。1970年代の個性的なデザインでありながら独特の存在感を放っています。6時位置には、貴金属製のインデックスが使用されていることを示す「σ SWISS σ」の表記が見られます。通称「シグマダイヤル」と呼ばれ、1970年代の手巻きデイトナや、ヴィンテージパテックなどにも見られる、コレクターには馴染み深いディテール。
ダイヤルは暗めのウォームグレーにホワイトレター。いわゆるゴーストダイヤルです。

Featuring wider hour markers and a matching set of distinctive hands, the so-called "Wide Boy" dial stands apart from the standard Datejust. Its bold yet refined design captures the character of the 1970s, giving the watch a unique presence.

At 6 o’clock, the dial features the "σ SWISS σ" signature, indicating the use of precious metals for the hour markers. Known as a "Sigma Dial," this detail is also found on hand-wound Daytonas from the 1970s and vintage Patek Philippe watches, making it a familiar feature among collectors.

The dial has a dark, warm grey tone with contrasting white lettering, creating the distinctive appearance commonly referred to as a "Ghost Dial."
