CPCPコレクションは、98年からスタートするんですが、同じ品番でフレデリックピゲ超薄型ムーブメントを搭載したモデルが存在します。文字盤12時位置にPARIS表記がある物はCPCPです。本個体のように12時位置にPARIS表記が無いモデルは通称プレCPCPと呼ばれています。エクストラフラットと称される直線基調の薄いスクエアケースがかなりエレガントです。また文字盤のギョーシェも非常に細かく美しい物で、35分のローマン数字の中には偽造防止のためCartierの文字が隠れています。付属の尾錠も当時のものです。しかもケースはノンポリです。
久しぶりに良い物入りました。

This is a Santos Dumont 1576 Pre CPCP model. The CPCP collection started in 1998, and there are models with the same model number that feature a Frédéric Piguet ultra-thin movement. Those with "PARIS" written at the 12 o'clock position on the dial are CPCP models. Models like this one, without "PARIS" at the 12 o'clock position, are commonly called Pre CPCP. The thin, straight-lined square case, known as "Extra Flat," is quite elegant. The guilloché pattern on the dial is also very fine and beautiful, and the word "Cartier" is hidden within the Roman numerals at the 35-minute mark for anti-counterfeiting purposes. The included buckle is also original. Furthermore, the case is non-polished.
