1964年デイトジャスト1625/5サンダーバード　ローズゴールドコンビ。ダイヤルはミラーというか、ツルッとした質感。当時のアルファハンドと、楔形インデックスの組み合わせもなかなか珍しい。

スポーツモデルの原型とも言えるターノグラフ（回転ベゼル機構）。
「サンダーバード」とは、その機構を備えたデイトジャストの派生モデルで、ドレスとスポーツの両面を併せ持つ特異な存在。
なお、ベゼルは初代から一貫してすべてゴールド製。

1964 Datejust 1625/5 Thunderbird in rose gold and steel. The dial has a mirror-like, smooth finish. The combination of the period alpha hands and wedge-shaped indices is quite rare.

The Turnograph (rotating bezel mechanism) can be considered the prototype for sports models.
The “Thunderbird” is a derivative model of the Datejust equipped with this mechanism, a unique existence combining both dress and sport characteristics.
Note that the bezel has been consistently made entirely of gold since the first generation.
