This is a one-owner, nearly deadstock Explorer 1 ref.1016 R. I inherited it directly from the first owner, then it went to the current owner, and it has now been happily returned to me. This is the final model of the 1016, and the dial has a slightly fat font on the 3/6/9. As you can see from the pictures, it is crisp in every respect.
Furthermore, it has never been maintained or overhauled, so it is a non-poly factory original case shape. The hairline and edging, as well as the standing of the bezel, make this a standard model with plenty to see.
