久しぶりの16753の茶壺。5桁リファレンスになって僅かだけ壺のダイヤルが作られました。1675ではマットで16753の初期はシャイニーダイヤル。よくルートビアダイヤルなんて呼ばれます。まさにビールの色。今回の茶壺は少し焦げ茶に赤みがかったエイジングをしたなんとも大人っぽい1本。上等なコニャックのよう。香港で出会ったドイツギャラのついた個体。

It has been quite some time since we last featured a Ref. 16753 "Root Beer." The "Root Beer" dial was produced for only a brief period following the transition to the five-digit reference series; whereas the Ref. 1675 featured a matte finish, the early Ref. 16753 models sported a glossy dial. It is affectionately known as the "Root Beer" dial—and indeed, it bears the exact color of the beverage. This particular example is a remarkably sophisticated piece, having aged to a deep reddish-brown hue reminiscent of a fine cognac. We discovered this specimen in Hong Kong, complete with its original German warranty papers.
