1982〜83年シリアルのエアキング Ref.5500。使用感のほとんどない、ノンポリッシュの個体です。

Ref.5500は1957年から約30年にわたって生産された、エアキングを代表するリファレンスです。ケース径は34mm、デイト表記のないシンプルなモデル。夜光はトリチウムで、「T SWISS T」表記が入る時期にあたります。風防はプラスチック。サンレイ仕上げのダイヤルは劣化がなく、光の当たり方によって表情が変わります。

ブレスはハードオイスター78350、コマはフル13コマが揃っています。クラスプコードはH(1983年)で本体シリアルの年代と整合しており、ブレス周りまで当時のまま。外箱にシールが残っている点も含め、この年代のRef.5500としてはそう多くない個体です。

綺麗なステンレスシルバーが映える、状態のいいヴィンテージエアキングです。

The Ref.5500 was produced for roughly three decades from 1957 and stands as the defining reference of the Air-King. It measures 34mm across, a straightforward model with no date. The lume is tritium, placing it in the period of the "T SWISS T" designation, and the crystal is acrylic. The sunburst dial shows no deterioration, its expression shifting with the way the light falls across it.

The bracelet is the hard Oyster 78350, complete with all thirteen links. The clasp code is H (1983), consistent with the serial year of the watch itself, and the bracelet remains as it was from the period. Together with the sticker still present on the outer box, this is not a configuration often found on a Ref.5500 of this age.

A vintage Air-King in fine condition, at its best in clean steel and silver.
