1989年L番のデイトナ、Ref.16523エル・プリメロのフルセットです。
久々に入荷したマーク2の4ラインダイヤル。このダイヤルはシャンパンの他に白と黒がありますが、いずれも1989年の約1年のみ。12時側の表記が5行ではなく4行であることから、4-Lineと呼ばれています。ベゼルはマーク1の200タキベゼル。こちらも最初期の仕様です。ケースは初期個体特有の、側面に丸みを帯びたいわゆる「かまぼこケース」なのでバッチリです。
ケース・ベゼルともにコンディションがよく、ブレスもほとんど伸びなしです。付属品はSSモデルとは差別化された金無垢・コンビ用の仕様で、内箱・外箱・カードケースが揃っています。
難しい話を抜きにすれば、『最初期の仕様が全部そろった、箱まで完備の金×SSデイトナ』です。
This is an L-serial 1989 Daytona Ref.16523 "El Primero," offered as a full set.
The dial is the Mark 2 four-line — a configuration we rarely see come in. Alongside champagne, it also exists in white and black, but all were produced for only about one year in 1989. With four lines of text at 12 o'clock instead of five, it is known among collectors as the "4-Line" dial. The bezel is the Mark 1 with 200-unit tachymeter scale, again the earliest specification, and the case retains the rounded, so-called "kamaboko" profile unique to early examples.
Both case and bezel are in excellent condition, and the bracelet shows almost no stretch. The accessories are the gold and two-tone specification, distinct from those of the steel models: inner box, outer box, and card case are all present.
Setting the technical talk aside: an earliest-specification Daytona in gold and steel, complete down to the boxes. That is what this example is.
