ロレックス サブマリーナー 1680/8「藤壺」黒文字盤のご紹介です。
こちらは、サブマリーナー初の金無垢モデルとなります。
1969年頃にメーターファーストの文字盤で登場し、続いてこのフィートファースト仕様が登場しました。
この藤壺の金無垢モデルはおよそ10年間製造されたとされていますが、実際には 1969年頃、1971〜72年頃、1976〜77年頃の3回 ほどしか生産されていないようです。
当時は非常に高価で、金への関税も高額であったため、生産数が少なく、他のモデルのように毎年作られることはありませんでした。
また、黒文字盤は青文字盤の半分以下の生産数であり、この比率は現行モデルでも同様です。
文字盤はマットブラックの フジツボ（ニップル）ダイヤル で、ベゼルインサートの文字はほぼシルバー色。
リューズはチューブにパッキンの無い初期タイプが採用されています。
ブレスレットは、バックル先端に王冠が付いた通称 “デベソ” と呼ばれるオリジナルタイプ。
当時の関税事情により、レザーストラップで納品されることも多かったため、このオリジナルブレス付きは非常に希少です。
“PATENTED” の刻印は、バックル内側のエクステンド部分に入っています。

English Description
Introducing the Rolex Submariner 1680/8 “Fujitsubo” (Nipple) black dial — the first solid gold Submariner model.
It was introduced around 1969 with a meter-first dial, followed by this feet-first version.
Although it was said to have been produced for about 10 years, in reality, it seems to have been manufactured only three times: around 1969, 1971–72, and 1976–77.
Due to its high cost and heavy tariffs on gold at the time, production numbers were limited, unlike other models that were made annually.
The black dial was produced in less than half the quantity of the blue version — a ratio that remains consistent even today.
The dial features a matte black nipple dial with a bezel insert in nearly silver tone, and the crown is an early type without packing in the tube.
The bracelet is the original “Debeso” type with a crown on the tip of the buckle.
Because of customs duties, many were delivered on leather straps, making this original bracelet extremely rare.
The “PATENTED” engraving is found on the inner extended part of the buckle.
