M番の2007-08年製、Explorer I Ref.114270です。2007年以降に見られるルーレット刻印入りの個体で、国際保証書とグリーンタグが付属します。

Explorer Iの原型にあたる4桁リファレンスのRef.1016から続く、36mmケース、3・6・9インデックスの黒文字盤、そして20mmのオイスターブレスなので、ヴィンテージのバランスを受け継いでいます。現行モデルにも36mmケースはありますが、ブレスレットやクラスプの設計は大きく変わっており、腕に乗せたときの印象は異なります。

本個体はM番の後年個体で、ルーレット刻印、王冠透かし入りサファイアクリスタル、オイスターブレスRef.78690という構成です。状態も良く、国際保証書とグリーンタグが残っている点も評価できます。1016から続くExplorer Iの間違いのない基本形を、実用性と付属品の安心感まで含めておすすめできる114270です。

This is an M-serial Rolex Explorer I Ref.114270 from 2007–08. It is a later example with the Rolex-engraved rehaut, introduced around 2007, and comes with its international guarantee and green tag.

The Ref.114270 carries forward the proportions established by the four-digit Explorer I Ref.1016: a 36mm case, black dial with 3-6-9 indexes, and a 20mm Oyster bracelet. While the current Explorer is also available in a 36mm case, the bracelet and clasp construction have changed significantly, giving the watch a different feel on the wrist.

This example is a later M-serial piece with the engraved rehaut, sapphire crystal with the Rolex crown etching, and Oyster bracelet Ref.78690. The condition is also very good, and the presence of both the international guarantee and green tag adds to its appeal. It is a Ref.114270 that lets you choose the classic Explorer I form inherited from the Ref.1016, while still offering the practicality and reassurance of a later-generation example.
